In the first hour of Sunday, November 30, 2008, a head-on crash on Conklin St., Farmingdale, took the life of a young man, as reported at newsday.com here. He and his friends were driving west on Conklin Street, when an eastbound driver crossed the center line, apparently to pass a car. The exact location is not given, but as the video shows Nassau police on the scene, it seems to have happened west of the Nassau-Suffolk border.
